Descrizione

Tarasco is made from dried Arneis grapes. It was created in 1982 from grapes produced from the rows of vines located at the top of the Cornarea hill. The name comes from the Dandelion plant, whose yellow flower resembles its color.

Color: it has a bright gold color.

Nose: a wine of great complexity and olfactory intensity, it combines scents of citrus, caramel, peach jam, fig and apricot with those of coffee, licorice, tobacco and walnut.

Taste: the taste is opulent, intense, enveloping, with great structure and persistence. Soft, sweet with hints of acacia honey and fig jam, however, it has a finish balanced by good acidity that ensures that the aftertaste does not exceed sweetness (which is rare for this type of wine).

Pairings: Excellent with blue cheeses such as natural gorgonzola, Roquefort, and Stilton. Also excellent with mature Roccaverano robiola cheese. Try with pâté de foie gras and, as for desserts, with hazelnut cake and ice cream, dark chocolate, and Canale peaches.
