THE GRAPES.
Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.

AREA OF PRODUCTION
Berici Hills. Two divided plots, one located on the west side of the Hills (Alonte) and one located on the east side (Arcugnano).

ALTITUDE AND EXPOSURE
Between 120 and 180 m altitude, with southeast (Alonte) and northwest (Arcugnano) exposure.

SOIL CHARACTERISTICS
Limestone soils of karst origin, with abundant skeleton and rich in iron.

TRAINING SYSTEM
Spurred cordon, 4,000 vines/ha, with presence of vines over 50 years old.

HARVEST
Early October, slightly late with perfect phenolic ripening.

VINIFICATION
Vinification in wooden vats with an average capacity of 25 hl, whole cluster at a maximum temperature of 26°C.

AGING
18 months in tonneau, 25% new.

ORGANOLEPTIC NOTES.
Purple-red, dark color. The nose is intense, with bright fruitiness reminiscent of blueberry and raspberry jam, sweet spicy hints of plum, hazelnuts and cocoa. The palate is full-bodied, rich but with sweet tannins, fruity aftertaste, very long and savory.

GRADATION
14%vol.
Contains sulfites.
