Trebbiano Fosso Cancelli is produced from the estate’s oldest vineyard with the desire to produce a great artisanal wine from historic and native varieties. Planted in the 1960s-1970s using the Abruzzi pergola system on clay-limestone soil in the Loreto Aprutino – Pianella area. Harvested manually in September, the grapes are vinified on native yeasts through the preparation of a pied de cuve. As of 2018, it is vinified and aged in terracotta amphorae and Slavonian oak barrels.
Loreto Aprutino is the absolute benchmark for Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, a local variety that is perfectly adapted to the local soil and climate. Tucked between mountainous massifs such as the Maiella and Gran Sasso, the vineyards form from above a turf with a spectacular glance
AN ENVELOPING TREBBIANO THAT PLAYS ON NOTES OF CITRUS AND WHITE FLOWERS. HERBS APPEAR TO EMBELLISH THE BOUQUET. AMAZING BALANCE ON THE PALATE SUPPORTED BY GOOD ACIDITY.
